The reflective glass exterior mirrors the forest landscape, allowing the structure to disappear into its surroundings while guests enjoy a profound sense of privacy, stillness, and immersion in nature.
Inspired by Nordic design and built on a full steel frame, the OOD Mirror House is crafted for both beauty and durability. Heated floors provide comfort through Southern Illinois winters, while the mirrored glass reflects 97% of UV rays to keep the interior cool in summer. Inside the thoughtfully designed 226 square foot space, every detail has been carefully curated: a plush queen bed facing the forest, floor-to-ceiling glass that brings the outdoors in while maintaining full privacy, a sleek spa-style shower, a well-equipped kitchenette, and clean Scandinavian lines throughout.
Step outside onto your spacious private deck and unwind in the hot tub surrounded by trees, or gather around the fire pit as the night settles in over the Shawnee Hills.
