About this cabin
Southern Comfort sits right on the pond, with direct access to the open field to the west. A separate and unique wood deck and fire pit, located right on the water, is perfect for feeding the turtles and watching the light change across the surface. Generous multi-level decks, a distinctive hot tub enclave, and a charming front porch swing make every corner of this cabin a place to linger.
Inside, the studio layout features a king-size bed, a cozy family room with a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen — everything you need without any of the clutter. Step onto the deck and into the hot tub as the pond shimmers just beyond, or settle into the porch swing as the evening breeze rolls in from the field.
The surrounding 44 acres of wooded fields are alive with wildlife. Deer, wild turkey, red foxes, pileated woodpeckers, and migrating waterfowl are regular visitors — and fortunate guests may even spot "Fraidy," the resident bobcat, at the edges of the treeline. Dogs are welcome to share in the adventure.
